A Flowery Branch man was killed late Tuesday night in a crash on Winder Highway in the Chestnut Mountain area.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office Accident Investigation Unit is investigating the fatal crash, which was reported around 11:50 p.m. near Oliver Road.
Investigators said James Chatham, 31, was trying to pass vehicles on the road when his motorcycle hit a concrete median and then a road sign. He died at the scene of the accident.
