Ashton Winger overcame early race struggles to score the victory in Saturday night’s Roscoe Smith Classic for the Southern All Star Dirt Racing Series at Georgia’s Senoia Raceway.
Winger, from Hampton, Georgia, dropped form the lead back to fifth early on, but drove back to the front. Winger regained the lead when Michael Page spun on lap 27 while trying to lap a slower car.
From there, Winger led the rest of the way in the 44-lap feature en route to the win and a $4,044 payday.
The victory makes Winger the 11th different winner in 11 series events this season.
Joseph Joiner finished in second, with Austin Horton in third, Jay Scott in fourth and Mike Collins in fifth.
Dalton Cook, Heath Hindman, Payton Freeman, Jason Croft and Dennis Hale rounded out the top 10.
