WHITESBURG, Ga. - James Swanger extended his win streak to four in Southern Outlaw Hobby action at West Georgia Speedway in Whitesburg, Georgia on Saturday night.
Swanger, who hails from Whitesburg, held off challenges from Eric Hamby to record the victory at the 3/8-mile clay raceway.
Greg Thomas finished in third, with Cory Hillman in fourth and Corey Glaze in fifth.
In other action Marty Massey edged out his nephew, Mason Massey, for the win in the Crate Late Model feature. Brian Womack came home in third, with Roger Cassel in fourth, and Shane Barrett in fifth.
Cass Fowler recorded his third Summit Racing Equipment Late Model Sportsman feature win of the season, with Matthew Knight in second, Scott Land in third, Andrew Moody in fourth, and Shane Payton in fifth.
Jamie Simmons scored the victory in the Gerber Collision & Glass Chargers feature, with Landon Frix and Cole Barrett rounding out the podium.
Jason Burke led the early laps of the Massey Towing Mini Stock feature, but lost the lead when he blew a tire on lap nine. That opened the door for Tracy Hulsey to get the win, with David Brackett second, Burke third, Steven Shutley fourth and Jay Farmer fifth.
Derrick Matthews took the win in the West Georgia Tire Bomber feature. Jordan Wallace followed in second, with Ricky Neill in third, David Jackson in fourth, and Tim McCoy in fifth.
Jayce Swint was the winner in the Hot Shots feature. Rick Ricks, Jonathan Nelson, Jody Jeffrey and Doug McClain rounded out the top five.
