David McCoy was unbeatable in Late Model action on Friday night at Georgia’s Lavonia Speedway.
The Franklin, North Carolina ace won in both the Limited Late Model and the 602 Crate Late Model features on the 3/8-mile clay raceway.
In the Limited Late Model feature, McCoy beat out Dale Timms for the victory, with Kenny Collins following in third, Frankie Beard in fourth and Gray Partain in fifth.
In the Crate Late Model feature, McCoy led wire to wire en route to the win. Chris Cape followed in second, with Brandon Stroud third, Dale Timms fourth and Kevin Stephans fifth.
In other action, Brady Cornett jumped to the early lead and never gave up the point, as he led flag-to-flag for the 602 Chargers victory. Justin Roberts, Stevan Grube and Bryce Muchow rounded out the top five.
In the Modified Street feature, Kyle Gordon passed Ty Nalley with two laps to go, and went on to record the win. Ryan Boles followed in third, with Michael Seabolt in fourth, and Billy Buffington in fifth.
Jimmy Johnson drove to the win in the Stock 8 feature. Nathan Bowen followed in second, with Chad Puckett in third, Rocky Jones in fourth and Ricky Chamberland in fifth.
Elliott Brayboy topped the Stock 4 field to take home the feature victory. Rod Tucker finished in second, with Austin Brown in third, J.J. Garrett in fourth and Randy Boshears in fourth.
Herbie Chinn added to his 2021 win total with another Young Guns victory. Jayda Brown, Koltin Bryant, London Payne and Will Kettle rounded out the top five.
Trent Blackwell was the winner in the Front Wheel Drive feature, with J.B. Moser second, Joel Cabe third, Michael Davis fourth and Brandon Grimes fifth.
Gene Thomas took the win in the Old School Throwback feature race. Robin Collins finished in second, with Wesley Thompson in third, Dennis Brown in fourth and Debris Brown in fifth.
