Two men killed in head-on crash in Hall County

By AccessWDUN staff

Two North Georgia men were killed early Saturday in a head-on collision on Athens Highway in Hall County.

The Hall County Sheriff's office identified the victims as Marcos Ezequiel Lopez, 25, of Gainesville, and Toby Langley, 42, of Talmo. Deputies have notified next of kin.

The preliminary investigation shows Lopez was southbound on Athens Highway at Barrett Road in a Toyota Corolla. Lopez left his lane and his car hit a 2002 Ford Escape driven by Langley, a news release from the sheriff's office said. Both men were wearing seatbelts. No passengers were in either car.

The accident happened around 2 a.m. Saturday.
