Stephen Starke has joined Peach State Bank & Trust as senior vice president of the bank’s new Braselton Loan Office.
Starke is a longtime local banker with over 30 years of experience in commercial lending. Starke has worked in the Gainesville market since 1997, most recently serving as commercial credit manager/senior vice president for Entegra Bank.
Starke’s additional experience includes positions as organizing director/board member and chief credit officer for Chattahoochee Bank of Georgia in Gainesville; senior lender/senior credit officer of Lanier Community Bank; and commercial lending positions with SunTrust Bank and NationsBank.
Starke is also active in the community, having served as a member of the Lakeview Academy School Board and South Hall Kiwanis Club. In addition, Starke has held leadership positions with the Buford Friends of Scouting Fundraising Campaign, Greater Hall Chamber of Commerce’s Hall County Beautification Community and Keep Hall Beautiful.
