On Tuesday, all four girls teams from Region 7-3A swept through into the second round. On Wednesday, northeast Georgia area boys soccer teams will get their first chance to advance in the Georgia High School Association playoffs.
First-round action continues on Wednesday around the state and the area and runs through Friday.
Class 5A No. 3 Johnson, the 2018 Class 5A state champion, will get its playoffs started at home against Northview while three 7-3A teams -- Cherokee Bluff, White County- and West Hall -- all come in ranked in the top 10 in the final regular season eurosportscoreboard.com poll.
