Sometimes in racing, it’s all about being in the right place at the right time.
That was the case for Ken Lampp on Saturday night, as he recorded the Limited Late Model victory at Georgia’s, Winder-Barrow Speedway.
John Anderson was flagged the winner of the feature at the ¼-mile clay raceway, with Lampp in second place. But Anderson saw the win go away when his car was disqualified in post-race technical inspection.
That moved Lampp to the victory. It marks the second win of the season for the Winder, Georgia native.
Drew Deaver moved to second, with Chris Wood in third, Nick Sellers in fourth and Will Harris on fifth.
In other action, Chase Lampp held off Trey Kirk to take the victory. Nick Sellers followed in third, with Joe Yarborough in fourth and Drew Deaver in fifth.
Aaron Criswell was the winner in the Modified Street feature, with Quik McCannon in second.
Trey Pilgram scored the win in the Stock V8 feature. Mark Chancey finished second, with Justin Bagwell third and Jr. Carter fourth.
Matt Garrin took home the win in the Stock 4A feature, with Glenn Jackson, Allen Cantrell, Joseph Dyer and Brandon Cox rounding out the top five.
Jacob Rhome recorded the victory in the Stock 4B feature. B.J. Franklin followed in second, with Charles Earnest in third, William Earnest in fourth and Buddy Brady in fifth.
Steve Shedd was the winner in the Front Wheel Drive feature. Jake McBride finished in second, with Wayne Chapman in third, Kenneth House in fourth and James Robinson in fifth.
