It may have been windy and chilly in Commerce, Georgia on Saturday, but Jeremy Hancock was hot in Summit ET Series drag racing action at Atlanta Dragway.
The Commerce racer went to victory lane after beating out Joe Goddard in the Super Pro final in the track’s season opener.
Hancock in on a 4.65 and ran a 4.661 ET at 144.30 MPH and a 0.010 reaction in the final. Goddard dialed in on a 4.98 and ran a 5.000 at 135.59 MPH and a 0.009 reaction.
Other winners on the day included Greg Allen in Pro, Ben Bramlett in Sportsman, Ken Ford in Super Pro Bike and in Street ET Bike, Victoria Beaner in 5-9 JR Dragster, Josiah Varner in 10-12 JR Dragster, and Logan Westmoreland in 13-17 JR Dragster.
