Area teams will try again on Thursday to get some key region matchups in the books after Wednesday's entire schedule was washed.
Storms moving through the area on Wednesday caused the rescheduling. Most of Wednesday's action moved to today but several moved to Friday or Saturday. The forecast is better for Thursday but more rain could hit in the late afternoon.

Region 7-3A has two series set to resume on Thursday with Lumpkin County traveling to No. 2 North Hall and No. 4 Cherokee Bluff playing host to West Hall.
Johnson in Region 8-5A also has big region game set for Thursday at home.
Buford and Habersham Central will complete their three-game series in Region 8-6A with a doubleheader on Thursday at Gerald McQuaig Field.
Class 4A No. 2-ranked Flowery Branch had an intriguing non-region matchup with Class A Private ninth-ranked Prince Avenue Christian set for Thursday at the Hog Mountain Sports Complex. But that game has been moved to Friday with a 6:15 p.m. first pitch.
However, Lakeview Academy's Region 6-A Private matchup with The Weber School, which already was moved from Wednesday, has been cancelled for a second straight day moved again, possibly to March 25.
