VILLA RICA — The North Hall girls golf team helped Team Georgia to win the annual Battle of the Borders (Georgia vs. Alabama) golf tournament at Mirror Lakes Golf Course on Saturday.
Team Georgia defeated Team Alabama by a score of 533 to 603.
Mikayla Dubnik tied for low medalist with a two-under-par 70. Lyric Sanford shot an 80. Dubnik and Sanford made the All-Tournament Team.
Emma Chester helped the North Hall team to shoot a team score of 252. Maggie Jackson and Brinson Hall of Tallulah Falls School both carded a 79. Jackson and Hall both were on the All-Tournament Team.
