Baseball: West Hall routs rival Johnson

OAKWOOD — West Hall scored in every inning in taking a 15-0 win over rival Johnson in four innings on Monday.

The Spartans (5-3) socred three runs in the first and four each in the second, thid, and fourth innings to put the game away.

Braden Simms got the win going the distance allowing just one and one walk while fanning 9 batters.

Ryan Svetz led an eight-hit attack with two hits and three RBI for West Hall. Tyler Maynard had a hit, three RBI and scored twice for the Spartans. Michael Gaddy, Simms, Kyle Murphy, Jackson Cooper, and Anthony Fragoso al had one hit for West Hall. 

Justin Shaffer knocked in two runs and Jace Young and Will Brannan had one RBI each while Murphy scored four runs for the Spartans.

Peyton Lavergne had Johnson's lone hit.
