Construction partners with the Georgia Department of Transportation will install single lane closures on State Route 369 over the Chattahoochee River (Lake Lanier) beginning Monday, March 1.
Lanes will be closed along State Route 369 over the Chattahoochee River approximately 11.5 miles northeast of the city of Cumming. The project length is approximately 0.805 miles long between milepost 19 in Forsyth County to milepost 1 in Hall County.
The closures will occur Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. each day. The project will allow contractors to grade, pour concrete and paint as part of continued construction of the new two-lane bridge, which is expected to be complete in June.
A release from the GDOT said that motorists will experience delays traveling through the project and that exact dates and times may change due to weather or other factors. More information is available at www.511ga.org or by calling 511.
