Two people found shot to death in a Jackson County home on Valentine's Day were apparent victims of murder-suicide.
The bodies of Brandon Wallace Pinson, 32, and Laura Michelle Grant, 36, were discovered by a relative around 6:30 Sunday evening, according to an incident report from the Jackson County Sheriff's Office.
The relative called deputies when she arrived at the residence on Winding Vine Lane in Nicholson.
The report said the relative had spoken with Pinson Saturday night, and Pinson indicated that he and Grant had been in a domestic dispute. The two were boyfriend and girlfriend, according to the report. There is no indication anyone else was in the residence at the time of the shooting. The investigator wrote in the report that a gun was located at the scene.
