ELLIJAY — Dawson County and White County will meet in the Region 7-3A boys final on Tuesday after both teams took semifinal wins on Saturday at the Gilmer High School gym.
The Tigers knocked off No. 2 seed Cherokee Bluff 77-68 while the Warriors routed North Hall 74-38.
The two teams will face off at 7:30 p.m. at Gilmer for the title. Cherokee Bluff and North Hall will play at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Ellijay for the No. 3 seed.
Meanwhile, in the girls' tournament, Gilmer knocked off No. 2 seed White County 64-50 in Dahlonega in one semifinal. The top-seeded Lumpkin County girls clobbered North Hall 72-32 in the other semifinal.
Gilmer and Lumpkin County will meet at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday in Dahlonega for the title.
North Hall and White County will play for the No. 3 seed at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
