Winder police investigating string of vehicle break-ins

The Winder Police Department is looking for information regarding a string of vehicle break-ins in the Embassy Walk and Bellingrath neighborhoods.

According to a social media post from the department, the break-ins took place in the early morning on Tuesday. No information was given as to the number of vehicles impacted.

Winder police encourage community members in these areas to check security camera footage, if available, and contact Detective Manthe via email at [email protected] or by phone at 678-425-6849 with any information.

Members of the community are also encouraged to remove any valuables from their vehicles and to lock vehicle doors.
