Girls basketball: East Hall routs Apalachee at home; Chestatee wins again; Lakeview falls

RABBITTOWN — East Hall tuned up for Lanierland with a 55-21 win over Apalachee on Tuesday at Valhalla.

Kaylana Curry led the Lady Vikings (7-4) with 14 points. Alexis Burce added 13 points and Maleah Harrison 10 for East Hall.

The Lady Vikings are off until next Tuesday when they take on Lakeview at 3 p.m. at Lakeview. in the first round of the Lanierland Tournament. East Hall will go into Lanierland having won three of its last four games overall.

The Lady War Eagles closed out their pre-Christmas schdul with another win in the Carrollton Christmas Showcase on Tuesday.

Chestatee (8-2) which is off until next week's Lanierland Tournament, is hot having won four of its last five gams overall. 

Riley Allison had 11 points to pace Chestatee. Riley Black had 10 points, Addison Boyd had 9 points, and Bowen Corley had 10 rebounds, 5 assists and took 3 big charges for the Lady War Eagles.

Chestatee will take on Flowery Branch in the first next Tuesday in Lanierland.

LAKEVIEW ACADEMY 28

The Lady Lions dropped their seventh straight game on Tuesday on the road.

Lakeview (1-7) trailed just 12-8 after the first quarter and 16-10 at halftime. The Lady Bulldogs pulled away in the second half.

Joelle Snyder led Lakeview Academy with 18 points. Ashlyn Henderson had 8 points for th Lady Lions.
