Authorities in Dawson County are investigating what is believed to be a murder-suicide that occurred Sunday night.
According to Dawson County Sheriff Jeff Johnson, the deceased were identified as Jenny Adam, 50, of Dawson County and James Adam, 62, of Hall County.
Johnson said around 9:47 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to the home on Sams Road after a report of gunshots. The deceased were located there.
"It appears that James was the aggressor in the incident," said Johnson in an email statement.
The sheriff did not release further details in the case.
