BUFORD — The Lanier Christian Academy girls split a pair of games in the Southern States Christian Classic Tournament at Old Suwanee Christian School in Buford.
The Lady Lightning dropped a 53-13 decision to host Old Suwanee Christian in the opener but rebounded to beat St. John Bosco 37-33 in the second game.
In the two games, senior Ashley Avery had 16 points, 17 rebounds, 4 blocks and 2 steals for LCA. Junior Camille Hoffman added 15 points, 23 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 blocks. Ellie Roberts had 10 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 steals.
