Hall County Fire Services will be getting 8 new fire trucks.
Last Thursday, the Hall County Board of Commissioners approved the purchase of 8 new Pierce Fire Trucks. This is the second phase of a replacement strategy approved in 2019. Hall County Fire Services ha already received 9 new trucks this past year.
The new trucks are expected to be delivered in late 2022.
In a statement released, the department said the trucks are critical for continued service delivery and thanked the Board of Commissioners, along with community citizens, for the support.
Hall County Fire Services has 375 active members who serve our community 24 hours a day, 365 days a year from 16 stations across nearly 400 square miles. Services include Fire and Emergency Medical Response, Fire Prevention and Investigation, Hazardous Materials Response, Technical Rescue, Marine Rescue and a host of other services.
