First responders invited to ceremony at Riverside Military Academy today

By AccessWDUN Staff

Thursday, Oct. 28 is National First Responders Day, and Riverside Military Academy in Gainesville is paying tribute to local public servants.

The Riverside Military Academy Corps of Cadets will present a pass-in-review in honor of all current and former first responders at 2 p.m. The review will take place in the John L. Beaver Fieldhouse because of inclement weather.

Family members are invited to attend the ceremony. Staff from all local and regional law enforcement offices are invited, as well.

"We appreciate all that you do to keep our community safe, and we look forward to welcoming you to campus," said RMA President COL(R) Stas Preczewski.
