The North Hall girls cross country team rose to the occasion on Wednesday, taking the top-three spots, en route to the Region 7-3A team championship at Unicoi State Park.
Clodagh O'Bryant captured the individual title with a time of 19:26. She was followed by her teammates Harleigh Smith (20:04) and Abi Moore (20:27) to sweep the top-three spots.
Cherokee Bluff's Adison Myers finished fourth, while White County's Nealeigh Broadwell rounded out the top five.
On the boys' side, Cherokee Bluff edged North Hall for the team championship, while East Forsyth's Alex Arrambide turned in a first-place time of 16:27 to earn the individual title. Stephen Clark, from West Hall, finished second, while Cherokee Bluff's Austin Click was third, Dawson County's Ethan Smith crossed in fourth, and East Forsyth's William Knight finished fifth.
