Three men were arrested in Jackson County Tuesday after the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division conducted a search warrant in reference to a sexual assault, according to a social media post from the Sheriff’s Office. At last report, all three men were in the Jackson County Jail.
21-year-old Davius Lanier Casteen of Nicholson has been charged with:
- Rape
- Statutory Rape
- Child Molestation
- False Imprisonment
- Aggravated Assault
- Cruelty to Child 1st degree
- Obstruction of Officers (x3)
18-year-old Joshua Thomas Wells has been charged with:
- Possession of Firearms by a Convicted Felon
- Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Distribute
- Party to the Crime of Rape
- Party to the Crime of Child Molestation
- Party to the Crime of False Imprisonment
- Party to the Crime of Aggravated Assault
- Party to the Crime of Statutory Rape
- Party to the Crime of Cruelty to Child 1st degree
- Felony Violation of Probation
19-year-old Akhemu Nehisi Dunston has been charged with:
- Possession of Marijuana with Intent
- Possession of Heroin,
- Party to the Crime of Rape
- Party to the Crime of Child Molestation
- Party to the Crime of False Imprisonment
- Party to the Crime of Aggravated Assault
- Party to the Crime of Statutory Rape
- Party to the Crime of Cruelty to Child 1st degree
Sheriff Janis G Mangum said no more information is available at this time because the case involves a child.
