No one was injured when fire damaged a home south of Cleveland just after 12:30 p.m. today.
The fire, at 317 Partin Road, Cleveland, was dispatched at 12:37 p.m.
When the first unit arrived, the two-story wood-frame home was about 30% involved, said White County Public Safety Director David Murphy.
Murphy said firefighters quickly made an interior attack in the 2,000-square-foot structure and contained the fire to one room and contents. The rest of the home received heat and smoke damage.
The American Red Cross was called to assist the three adults and four children who lived at the home. The occupants were away at the time of the fire.
The fire remains under investigation, Murphy said.
