After beginning the new semester in a virtual format this week, Lanier Technical College will begin normal class operations next week.
College officials had planned to reopen for face-to-face learning on Jan. 19, but they did not finalize the decision until Thursday.
"The College will continue to follow the safety protocols of daily health screenings, wearing a mask, and maintaining social distancing. Additional efforts will be taken to disinfect laboratories and classrooms upon dismissal of classes," said a statement released by college officials.
The College Leadership will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation and we will provide additional updates as needed.
