Investigators in White County are working to identify the person(s) responsible for burglaries at a government facility and a business Friday night.

“There was a burglary at the White County Water Authority last night,” said White County Sheriff Rick Kelley. “During the burglary, a vehicle from the Water Authority was stolen.  That vehicle was located at Laurel Creek Mini Storage, which was also burglarized last night.”

The mini-storage business is located off Tesnatee Gap Valley Road a short distance from the Water Authority facility.

Anyone who saw suspicious activity or who has information about those responsible for the crimes is asked to call the White County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division at (706) 865-5177.
