Podcast: High school football and UGA's lackluster first half

By AccessWDUN Staff

On this week's The RunDown Sports Podcast, Bo Wilson and Caleb Hutchins take a look back at what we learned from Week 4 of the high school football season.

It was filled with interesting performances, including Gainesville's huge win over Discovery; Buford blasted Clarke Central; Dawson County gets back on track; Lakeview Academy and Towns County are trending upward; Rabun County shows fortitude with a comeback win over top-10 ranked Bremen, and White County continues to turn heads across the region.

Georgia struggled in the first half against Arkansas, so much so, Kirby Smart pulled starting quarterback D'Wan Mathis at the half and started Stetson Bennett IV in the second half. Bennett led the Bulldogs to a 37-10 win over the Razorback. Interestingly enough, after trailing 7-5 at the break, the Bulldogs' win was the largest margin of victory of any Southeastern Conference team on Saturday.
