GAINESVILLE — East Hall rallied from an early deficit to win a slugfest over Chestatee, 12-8, Wednesday in Region 8-4A action at East Hall Park.
Chestatee struck first with a run in the first but the Lady Vikings answered with two runs in the second to take the lead. But the Lady War Eagles reclaimed the lead, 3-2, with two runs in the third.
East Hall tied the game with a run in the bottom of the third and blew it open with a five-run fourth. In the big innings, Calli Hardison and Callie Dale each doubled in runs and Brooke Hewell added a RBI groundout.
The Lady Vikings added three more in the fifth after Chestatee head cut it to 8-4. Chestatee never went away scoring three in the sixth to get within 11-7 but could get no closer. In the sixth, Chestatee got RBI hits from Brook Bachelier and Lacie James.
Maggie Banks got the win for East Hall surrendering eight runs on eight hits over seven innings and striking out two.
Isabel Long took the loss for Chestatee. Long lasted just 3 2/3 innings, allowing seven hits and 10 runs while striking out one.
Morgan Hunt started the game for Chestatee and allowed three hits and two runs over 2 1/3 innings. Hunt also collected three hits for Chestatee.

The Lady Dragons scored three runs in each of the fifth and sixth innings to erase a pair of deficits in taking a victory over the Lady Redskins on Wednesday at home.
Social Circle scored a pair of runs in the top of the fifth to break a scoreless tie to that point. Jefferson answered with three runs in the bottom of the inning.
The Lady Redskins answered that with three runs in the top of the sixth to grab a 5-3 lead. But again the Lady Dragons answered with three more runs in the bottom of the sixth.
Taylor Spivey then sealed the win setting down Social Circle in order in the seventh. Spivey surrendered three runs on four hits over two innings and striking out three. But Spivey was dominate when needed the most.
Camoreea Hart threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen for Jefferson allowing two runs on two hits and fanned three. Ravyn Saxon started the game for Jefferson and allowed zero hits and zero runs over three innings, striking out two and walking one.
Spivey, Anslee Pittman, Maleia Truelove, and Livi Blackstock had Jefferson’s four hits.

Alyssa Wagner tossed a no-hitter and fanned seven in helping lead the Lady Falcons to a Region 8-4A win in three innings.
The Branch scored two runs in the first but batted around twice in the second scoring 13 runs to eventually invoke the mercy rule.
Savanna Rutledge led a 9-hit Lady Falcons' attack with three hits and two RBI. Lauren Hicks had two hits and four RBI while Mak Davis, Wagner, Amanda LeBlanc, and Abby Gray each had one hit for Flowery Branch.
