Arrest made in July burglary of The Collegiate Grill

Gainesville police officers have arrested a suspect in connection with the July burglary of The Collegiate Grill restaurant.

Timothy Hulsey, age 27 of Gainesville, faces charges of burglary and theft by taking, according to Officer Nick Smith with the Gainesville Police Department.

Smith said that investigators used security camera footage of the incident as well as help from employees with The Collegiate Grill to identify Hulsey.

"From there, investigators made the arrest on August 27 with no incident," said Smith.

Hulsey remains in the Hall County Jail as of last report.
