ATHENS — The Georgia Bulldogs offense suffered a blow Wednesday.
In a statement from the UGA Athletic Association, sophomore wide receiver Dominick Blaylock has been lost for the season after suffering a non-contact injury.
"Blaylock suffered an injury to his left knee Wednesday during a non-contact drill. Surgery will be required and he will miss the 2020 season. A full recovery is expected,” the statement said.
It is the same knee he injured in the 2019 SEC Championshi game. Blaylock finished his freshman season with 18 catches for 310 yards and 5 touchdowns.
The Bulldogs open the season Sept. 26 on the road against Arkansas.
