UNG reports record summer enrollment

By AccessWDUN Staff

Despite the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, the University of North Georgia reported a record high summer enrollment for 2020.

Enrollment in summer 2020 courses at the University of North Georgia increased by more than 10% from last year, according to information released this week by UNG officials.

Since 2013, enrollment in summer courses at the university has increased almost every year, including a 41% growth over an eight-year period.

University officials said the significant boost points to the robust summer course offerings UNG has added in recent years to help students remain on track for degree completion, as well as the expansion of online offerings and upper-level courses.
