Motorists taking Browns Bridge on State Route 369 in the evenings will need to use extra caution Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
The Georgia Department of Transportation announced Monday that their construction partners will reduce the traffic flow to one lane at the bridge from 7 p.m. Tuesday until 6 a.m. Wednesday to continue construction activities.
Traffic will be directed to either side of Browns Bridge, and officials urge drivers to slow down and pay close attention on State Route 366 as there will be delays.
The bridge construction project is part of an ongoing project that began in 2017 to replace the existing metal truss structure with a new, conventional bridge.
