CLEVELAND – A 18-year-old White County man was arrested May 28 and charged with aggravated child molestation.
Carlos Anthony Martinez was 17 at the time of the incident earlier this year and the victim was 7, said White County Sheriff’s Capt. Clay Hammond.
On Feb. 1, deputies responded to Habersham Medical Center in Demorest regarding an alleged sexual assault that allegedly occurred in White County, Hammond said.
As a result on an investigation, Martinez was charged in the case.
