Georgia Senator Kelly Loeffler over the weekend helped deliver personal protective equipment (PPE) to workers at Northeast Georgia Medical Center.
Loeffler dropped off the supplies on Saturday, and met with several members of the hospital administration, along with a number of troops with the Georgia National Guard.
“While so many communities in our state are beginning to recover from the effects of coronavirus, it’s clear that Hall County – and the many agricultural communities within it – are struggling,” said Loeffler in a statement sent out by her press secretary Monday evening. “Supplying doctors and nurses like those at Northeast Georgia Medical Center with much-needed PPE is a critical step to containing this outbreak. I will continue delivering relief and assistance to North Georgia’s health care facilities, families, and businesses as we work to ensure recovery reaches every corner of our state.”
