Some Goodwill stores in North Georgia will begin to reopen this week, but the Gainesville stores are not on the list.
On Wednesday, May 6, a total of 21 stores and career centers will reopen, according to information on the Goodwill website. Among them are the stores in Cumming, Hartwell, Lawrenceville and Winder in North Georgia.
Company officials closed the stores when the coronavirus pandemic began. Many collection sites were closed when they were overwhelmed with donations. There is no word yet on when the remaining stores will open again.
