Earlier this week, 11 deputies were tested after the incident with with arrestee. According to spokesman Derreck Booth in an email update, 10 of the employees who were tested are all negative for COVID-19.

Test results for one deputy who was directly involved in the man's arrest are still pending, Booth said in the update.

Booth said the group of ten negative employees includes all eight jail employees, who have already or will soon return to work between now and Monday.

Three of the deputies, including the deputy with results pending, were quarantined at home, Booth said. They were all directly involved in the initial arrest. A Deputy and an Investigator both tested negative for the virus, however, when they will return to the field hasn't been decided.
