Kemp, task force schedule COVID-19 update for this afternoon

By AccessWDUN Staff

Gov. Brian Kemp has indicated he will unveil a plan to start re-opening Georgia's economy at some point this week. The governor and other state elected officials will hold a press conference at 4 p.m. Monday, April 20 at Liberty Plaza outside the State Capitol. No agenda was published for the press conference, so there is no word on whether the re-opening plan will be part of Monday's discussion.

Joining Gov. Kemp will be Lt. Gov. Geoff Duncan, House Speaker David Ralston, Georgia Department of Public Health Commissioner Dr. Kathleen Toomey, GEMA Director Homer Bryson, and Adjutant General Tom Carden of the Georgia National Guard.
