The Georgia National Guard will arrive in Ellijay Tuesday morning to educate nursing home personnel on sanitation and cleaning methods.
Ellijay Police Department made the announcement on its social media page Monday afternoon.
National Guard personnel will arrive at 9 a.m. at Parkside Ellijay Nursing Home, the post states.
“All is well,” the post states. “There is no curfew. No one is taking over. No martial law. Just citizen warriors coming to assist local folks with training and information.”
