A Clermont man faces several charges after authorities say he fired multiple gunshots into vehicles parked outside a Hall County home on Thursday morning.

William Charles Culpepper, 43, is charged with two counts each of terroristic threats/acts and first-degree criminal damage to property in the alleged shooting.

The Hall County Sheriff's Office says he also faces charges of possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, discharging a firearm on the property of another and reckless conduct.

Sheriff's Office spokesman Derreck Booth says the incident took place between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. Thursday morning outside a residence on King Street, not far from U.S. 129 in Clermont.

"According to initial details, Culpepper fired his handgun several times into the two vehicles while yelling profanities at two men inside the home where the vehicles were parked," Booth explained. "No one was injured during the incident that caused more than $1,000 damage."

Culpepper was arrested at his residence, also located on King Street, later that day at roughly 10:20 a.m.

As of Friday afternoon, he remained in the Hall County Jail on $32,200 bond.

The case remains under investigation by the Hall County Sheriff’s Office.
