Some Gainesville residents and businesses can expect a loss of water service for parts of Tuesday and Wednesday as water main improvements are made in the city center.
Service interruptions can be expected on the west side of Jesse Jewell Parkway from the intersections of West Avenue down to John W. Morrow Jr. Parkway.
City officials said in a press release Monday evening the work will be conducted from roughly 11:00 p.m. Tuesday to 5:00 a.m. Wednesday. It should be noted that the start and stop times are approximate, and loss of service could extend to either side of those hours.
