Podcast: Sports as we know it right now

By Bo Wilson Sports Editor

As the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to spread across the nation, the world of sports has hit the pause button on all games and events.

The NFL, however, has made headlines with free agency. The Atlanta Falcons are filling their offense with former first-round draft picks. Will it be a successful move? Only time will tell.

The Toyko Olympics, originally scheduled for August, has been postponed until next year.

On the local front, high school sports remain postponed. GHSA Executive Director Robin Hines has said they'll follow the plan laid out by Gov. Brian Kemp. That means all sports remain suspended through April 6 -- probably longer.

On this week's podcast, we discuss the moves by the Falcons, the GHSA, the Olympics all while social distancing ourselves.
