A Hall county business was evacuated Saturday, March 21, due to an ammonia leak.
Americold at 1680 Candler Hwy reported ammonia leaking from a 300-lb tank inside a large, cold storage facility. The Hall County Fire services HazMat team was able to secure a valve and stop the leak.
The facility was ventilated properly before employees were allowed back in.
There were no injuries reported.
