A body found in Gainesville Wednesday remains unidentified, police said Friday morning
Gainesville Police Department Sgt. Kevin Holbrook said officers responded to a heavily-wooded area "between Allen Creek Road and Fullenwider Roads for a death investigation."
He added the man's body had been found by land surveyors in a makeshift camp area.
"At this time we have nothing to indicate foul play in the case," Holbrook said. "The GBI Medical Examiners Office is working to help us identify the male subject. The case remains open and active at this time."
