BETHLEHEM — The Flowery Branch girls improved to 2-0 on the young season holding off Class 6A Apalachee 7-4 Monday in soccer action on the road.
Maggie Wadsworth tallied three goals for the Lady Falcons, who are sporting a new coach in Tyler Stubbs after last year's run to the state finals.
Sarah Greiner added a pair of goals and Mollie Langner had one for Flowery Branch. Apalachee had an own goal for the other.
Flowery Branch will be back in action on Tuesday traveling to rival Gainesville.
