OAKWOOD — Johnson swept a doubleheader Saturday against Class 7A Discovery at home.
The Knights routed the Titans 17-2 in three innings and 13-3 in five innings behind solid pitching and an opportunistic offense.
Peyton Lavergne got the win in the first game and Tristen Nguyen earned the victory in the second game fanning nine.
Josh Lopez and Lavergne each had 4 RBIs on the day to lead the offense.
Johnson (2-4) will be back in action against Meadowcreek in a doubleheader at home on Wednesday.
