A six-vehicle pileup in Gainesville left the northbound side of I-985 shut down Saturday night.
Hall County Fire Services Divison Chief Zach Brackett said the crash happened at the Candler Road exit.
While the exact cause of the crash is not yet known, Brackett said fog in the area was making visibility limited. Road conditions have been troubled throughout the weekend thanks to heavy snowfall early Saturday.
No injuries have been reported at this time.
