NORCROSS — Greater Atlanta Christian's defense was ready for North Hall's wing-T offense.

The Spartans (11-0) held North Hall (7-5) to 79 total yards, Class 3A's leading rusher, Clark Howell, to 22 yards, as they strolled to a 33-0 win in the second round of the Class 3A playoffs on Friday at Spartan Field.

Kevin Rochester led the Trojans' ground game with 44 yards on nine carries.

GAC jumped out with two scores in the first quarter -- Deymon Fleming scored on a 7-yard run and Marcus Wilson rushed in from 25 yards out -- to take a 14-0 lead.

The Spartans added a touchdown in the second, a Fleming 3-yard run; and added two more in the third quarter. Brooks Miller tossed a 23-yard pass to Fleming, and Wilson broke loose on another 25-yard run.

GAC ended the night with 305 total yards of offense.
