James (Jim) Keller Syfan, III has been appointed to serve on the Lake Lanier Islands Development Authority.
Gov. Brian Kemp announced the appointment Tuesday, Nov. 25.
Syfan, who is from Gainesville, and his sons founded Turbo Logistics, Inc. in 1984. He currently serves as the CEO of Turbo Truck Center, Inc. and Turbo Truck & Auto Sales, Inc. in Hall County.
