Miller nominated again for Senate Republican Caucus Mayor Pro-Tem

By Alyson Shields Reporter

Senator Butch Miller, a Gainesville Republican, has been nominated once more to serve the Senate Republican Caucus as its mayor pre-tem.

Miller was nominated Friday and will be voted on in January.

Leadership in the caucus will be similar to last year's, with Dahlonega's Steve Gooch as party whip.

Carollton's Mike Dugan will serve a second term as Senate Majority Leader.

John Wilkinson, who attempted a run at congress without success, has been replaced with Dean Burker from Bainbridge.
