DANIELSVILLE — Jefferson's Kam Robinson was a punt return specialist.
The speedy senior returned three punts for touchdowns, rolled up 326 all-purpose yards and ripped off a 59-yard touchdown run to lead Jefferson, Region 8-4A champions, past Madison County, 47-0, on Friday.
The Dragons didn't need much offense after that but racked up 264 total yards while holding Madison County to 53 yards of offense.
Robinson's only rush was a 59-yard touchdown and also made him the Dragons' leading rusher. Malaki Stars finished with three totes for 48 yards.
Robinson took the first two Madison punts to the house, a 30 and 41-yard return, to give the Dragons an early 13-0 advantage. Starks added two passing touchdowns to Jordan Perry -- a 15 and 10-yard pass and Carter Stephenson scored on a 7-yard run.
The Dragons will play host to Mt. Zion, the Region 5-4A No. 4 seed on Friday, Nov. 27. Game time TBD.
